An architect’s home with a modern traditional décor
This is the home of architect Durval Dias Junior. It'southward located in Mallorca, Spain and it has an interesting story. The structure that is now a beautiful firm used to be merely a ruin when the architect found it. Originally, the building was an oil mill that dated back to the 1700s. It has a lot of history and with time it became an abandoned construction.

This structure was then discovered by the architect who decided to make it his dwelling. It was a long and hard project with lots of challenges but nothing could brand the owner change his mind. He immediately barbarous in love with the structure from the moment he commencement saw it. He knew that he would eventually exist able to transform it and to plough it into a unique abode. The house is now his retreat. The house initially presented a typical rural architectural and this was the element that made the owner be and then interested in it.



The abased construction was then rebuilt and restructured. The architect establish there the inspiration to renovate this place and to plow information technology into what he now calls abode. He decided to preserve the building'due south outside architecture and to also include some of the very beautiful traditional details in the interior as well.









He too opted for a contrasting modernistic décor to complement the elegant simplicity of the architecture. The interior décor is a combination of modern pieces with make clean and simple pattern and vintage items with industrial touches. The colors chosen for the interior are simple and include tones of white, black and earth colors.
